The science behind concentrate vaporization

Concentrates are rich in cannabinoids and terpenes that activate at specific temperatures. Puffco devices heat these compounds evenly and gently, turning them into vapour — not smoke.

Vaporisation (230–315°C): cannabinoids & terpenes evaporate.
Combustion (~600°C+): burning destroys flavour & creates smoke.

Puffco is designed exclusively for concentrates and hash. It is not meant for dry flower unless used with a specific accessory (not recommended for beginners).

Light cleaning after each session (while warm) keeps flavour fresh and prevents buildup. It's easier than deep cleaning later.

For most sessions, starting with a small rice-grain size amount is enough. Puffco chambers are designed to work best with smaller, even loads. Adding too much can reduce flavour, cause pooling and make cleaning more difficult.

A typical session lasts from a few tens of seconds up to around a minute, depending on the device model and heat level you choose. Higher temperatures and larger loads can finish faster, while lower temperatures and smaller loads feel gentler and may stretch the experience slightly longer.

Battery life depends on how often you use it, your heat setting and the specific model. Most users can expect multiple sessions on a single charge.
