The science behind concentrate vaporization
Concentrates are rich in cannabinoids and terpenes that activate at specific temperatures. Puffco devices heat these compounds evenly and gently, turning them into vapour — not smoke.
- Vaporisation (230–315°C): cannabinoids & terpenes evaporate.
- Combustion (~600°C+): burning destroys flavour & creates smoke.
- Terpenes evaporate first: producing strongest flavours.
- Cannabinoids evaporate next: creating effects.
Because temperatures are controlled, the vapour is smoother, more predictable and far more flavour-forward than anything produced by a flame.
How a Puffco device works (step-by-step)
- Add a small amount of concentrate to the chamber.
- Choose your heat level (low → flavour, high → stronger clouds).
- The device heats the chamber electronically and evenly.
- Terpenes and cannabinoids evaporate into vapour.
- Inhale through the mouthpiece or glass attachment.
